Dry weather in J&K till Dec 10, minimum temp to fall: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Monday forecast mainly dry weather in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir till December 10th.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, “Currently, the weather is mainly at most places of Jammu and Kashmir.”

He said, “The weather is expected to remain mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir from December 4th to 10th.”

He said, “Generally cloudy weather is expected in the Union Territory on December 11th.”

He said, “Minimum temperature is expected to fall by 1-3°C during next 7 days over all the stations of the region.”

Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 0.7°C, Qazigund minus 0.4°C, Anantnag minus 0.3°C, Kupwara minus 2.5°C, Kokernag 0.8°C, Pahalgam minus 3.4°C and Gulmarg minus 3.0°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Monday.

The winter capital Jammu recorded 11.0°C, Katra 9.0°C, Batote 4.7°C, Bhaderwah 2.0°C, Banihal 3.4°C, Udhampur 7.8°C and Patnitop 4.6°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 9.4°C, Kargil minus 7.1 as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
