JAMMU — The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has issued a fresh order revising school timings for both Government and recognized private schools across Jammu division.
As per the order, schools in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during October 2025. With effect from November 1, the timings will shift to 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, except for schools falling within Jammu Municipal Corporation limits and surrounding urban areas, where classes will continue from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
For the Winter Zone of Jammu Division, schools shall operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM starting October 1, 2025.
The DSEJ has warned that any deviation to this order will invite action against the concerned institution under rules in vogue.
