Earthquake of Magnitude 3.6 hits Kishtwar

JAMMU (KIMS) — An earthquake of Magnitude 3.6 on the Richter Scale hits the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory on Tuesday.

However, there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to the property.

The earthquake, with its epicentre near Kishtwar occurred at around 08:53 am at a depth of 5 km, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.

The earthquake hits at latitude 33.34 degrees and longitude 76.70 degrees, it said. — (KIMS)
