JAMMU (KIMS) — An encounter broke out between security forces and militants in the forest area of Chatroo in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning.
The Indian Army’s Jammu-based White Knight Corps said in a post on X that an intelligence-based operation was launched along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police early in the morning today.
The Army said its alert troops established contact with terrorists in the general area of Chhatru and exchanged fire with terrorists.
