Generally cloudy sky with light rain, snow likely in J&K

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department office on Thursday forecast generally cloudy sky with light rain and snow in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

The Union Territory received rain and snow during the last 24 hours.

Srinagar recorded minus 0.2 degree Celsius, Pahalgam minus 1.7 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg minus 5.5 degree Celsius as the minimum temperature.

Jammu recorded 6.6 degrees Celsius, Katra 9.1 degrees Celsius, Batote 1.9 degrees Celsius, Banihal 2.3 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 1.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, Kargil recorded minus 11.6 degrees Celsius and Leh recorded minus 9.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
