SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Tuesday forecast generally cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Today, the weather will remain generally cloudy with intermittent light to moderate rain towards afternoon or evening in Jammu and Kashmir, an official of the Meteorological Department said.
He said, Partly cloudy weather with rain likely in the evenings is expected in Jammu and Kashmir from June 28, 2023 to July 1, 2023.
Water Level in rivers & streams/nallas are also expected to rise. All are requested to remain cautious and alert during active phase of Monsoon in J&K, he said.
Meanwhile, The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 19.4°C, Anantnag 16.8°C, Qazigund 17.0°C, Kupwara 17.5°C, Kokernag 16.0°C, Gulmarg 11.5°C and Pahalgam 13.0°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Tuesday.
The winter capital Jammu recorded 25.1°C, Katra 22.0°C, Batote 17.1°C, Bhaderwah 17.4°C, Banihal 16.3°C, Udhampur 23.7°C and Patnitop 17.0°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.
In Ladakh region, Leh recorded 7.4°C and Kargil 15.2°C as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
