SRINAGAR (KIMS) — JDU State President GM Shaheen has expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for taking swift action regarding the reported negligence at Shifa Hospital, Srinagar.
Shaheen, who recently underwent gallbladder surgery at the hospital, had raised concerns about the poor management and delayed post-surgery care. Following his complaint, the administration reportedly took strict action to address the issue.
Speaking on the matter, Shaheen appreciated the LG’s commitment to ensuring accountability in healthcare services, stating that such actions will improve the quality of care and prevent further lapses.
He also urged authorities to continue monitoring healthcare facilities to safeguard patient welfare.
