SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered promotion of two Indian Police Service (IPS) Officers to the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).
According to an order, Anand Jain, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone and Nitish Kumar, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Crime Investigation Department (CID), J&K have been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).
Both the officers shall continue in the present position, with the post declared equivalent in the rank and status to that of ADGP, till held by them, reads the order. — (KIMS)
