JAMMU (KIMS) — In view of the extreme hot weather conditions, the Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ) on Tuesday ordered Summer vacation in schools falling in Summer Zone of Jammu division.
According to a communique, “All the Government as well as Private (recognized) Schools falling in Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall observe Summer vacation from June 1, 2024 to July 16, 2024.”
“All teachers shall remain available for any on-line guidance of students during vacation period. Any default on part of the Head of the School/Teaching staff in observance of the above schedule shall attract action under rules,” reads the communique.
The decision has been taken in view of the extreme hot weather conditions in Jammu Division of the Union Territory. — (KIMS)
