SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted a Hizb ul Mujahideen (HM) outfit module involved in Panch’s killing after arresting of three militant associates in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
SSP Kulgam Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy confirmed to news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a Hizbul Mujahideen module involved in killing of Panch in Kulgam was busted and three militant associates of HM have been arrested.
“Kulgam Police busted Militant module of proscribed Militant outfit HM involved in killing of Panch Mohammad Yaqoob Dar of Kulpora Srandroo Kulgam killed by militants on 2nd March this year, and arrested 3 militant associates actively involved and recovered incriminating materials including one Pistol, 2 Grenades on their disclosure,” the officer said.
The arrested militant associates have been identified as Adil Manzoor Rather, Nasir Ahmad Wani and Majid Majed Rather all residents of Kulgam district. — (KDC)
