ANANTNAG (KIMS) — National Conference (NC) leader Imran Amin Shah today expressed grave concern over the non-availability of basic amenities, including drinking water supplies and proper road connectivity, in the village of Telwani, Anantnag.
Imran Amin Shah, who conducted a detailed tour of the village on the instruction of party leadership, stated that the continued neglect of these essential services has caused immense hardship to the residents of the area, particularly during the harsh winter months.
Castigating the previous PDP-BJP regime, Shah alleged that the administration under Mehbooba Mufti ignored the genuine grievances of the people.
“Instead of addressing the pressing issues faced by the common man, the previous government focused on benefiting their families and close associates,” Shah remarked.
In light of the dire situation in Telwani, Imran Amin Shah has sought the urgent intervention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for immediate measures for providing basic amenities to the people, particularly drinking water supplies, improved road connectivity, health infrastructure, and connecting the electric network Gopalpora Grid Station, which is a long-pending demand of the area.
“The people of Telwani deserve better infrastructure and basic facilities. Their voices must not go unheard any longer,” Shah said, reiterating his commitment to stand with the people in their fight for basic amenities. — (KIMS)
