Internet service shut in Pulwama parts from one week, students suffer

PULWAMA — The authorities in Pulwama district in South Kashmir have been denying access to mobile internet for local from last one week.

The mobile internet service was snapped in Pulwama district on 9th of April, 2022.

However, even after one week the internet service has not been restored yet in Pulwama’s Shahoora belt and in other parts which include Achan, Panjran, Niloora, Litter, Chandgam, Nownagri, Wasoora, Chakoora etc. due to which student community and businessman suffer.

The internet shutdown has irked local residents especially student community who are facing hardships in preparing for exams and are not able to study well.

Besides the business community has also hit as they are unable to process requests online due to non-availability of internet.

The authorities have cited security reasons for the suspension of internet. — (KIMS)
