JAMMU (KIMS) — Vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been suspended from both ends following heavy rainfall, shooting stones and multiple mudslides along the entire highway.
According to a traffic update issued at 9:30 am, commuters have been advised not to undertake any journey on NH-44 until the weather improves and the road is declared safe for traffic.
The Traffic Police has urged the public to check the latest road status through its official social media platforms or contact the Traffic Control Units (TCUs) in Jammu, Srinagar, Ramban and Udhampur before planning their travel. — (KIMS)
