KULGAM — Javid Ahmad Rather, a teacher posted at Middle School Khanpora, Pariwan in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, was conferred with the prestigious Teacher’s Award 2026 at the Union Territory level in recognition of his dedication and contribution to the field of education.
Rather had figured at Serial No. 16 in the official list of awardees issued by the School Education Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The award has brought laurels to the district, with colleagues, students friends and family members extending their congratulations to Rather on the achievement.
They hailed the recognition as a testament to his commitment and dedicated service in the field of education.
