J&K Govt approves ₹10 crore for restoration of historic Rattan Garh Fort in Bhaderwah

JAMMU (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved ₹10 crore for the repair and renovation of the historic Rattan Garh Fort in Bhaderwah area of Doda district as part of efforts to preserve the region’s heritage and promote local tourism.

According to a post on X by the Office of the Chief Minister, the project is aimed at conserving the historic fort and strengthening its potential as a tourist attraction.

The government said the initiative will contribute towards preserving Jammu and Kashmir’s historical heritage while promoting tourism and supporting local economic activity in Bhaderwah. — (KIMS)
