JKBOSE Decides Against Conducting Examination Of Postponed Class 11th Papers

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has decided not to conduct examination for the theory papers and external practical of 11th class, postponed in Kashmir valley and Warwan area of Kishtwar district on January 3 and 6 due to snowfall.

However, the Board has decided that the marks in leftover Theory papers that were postponed shall be awarded proportionately as the mean of the marks obtained by the candidate in other theory papers in which he/she has appeared, according to an order, a copy of which lies with GNS.

“The marks in the External practical shall be awarded proportionally on the basis of the marks obtained in Internal assessment already conducted by the respective Schools of Kashmir Division and Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division,” reads the order by Dr Farooq Ahmed Peer, Director Academics. (GNS)
