SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a journalist in alleged militancy funding case.
Police said, a self-styled journalist namely Muzamil Zahoor Malik of Indergam Pattan was arrested for militancy funding.
Malik received funds in his bank account made on forged documents/fake identity, police said.
In this regard, a FIR 20/2023 u/s 13,18,40 of UAPA & 120B, 121, 124, 124A of IPC has been registered in Nowgam Police Station and further investigation has been taken up. — (KIMS)
