SRINAGAR — A minor girl was mauled to death by a leopard at Khansahib area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
A 9-year-old girl namely Rabiya Nisar was attacked by a leopard near her residence at Samsan village in Khansahib area of Budgam district. Soon after the incident, she was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment where doctors declared her dead on arrival, news agency KDC reported.
Meanwhile, the officials of wildlife and other concerned departments have taken cognizance of the incident and have launched manhunt to trace the leopard.
