The Amarnath Yatra is one of the most significant Hindu pilgrimage. This annual pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath cave shrine attracts thousands of devotees who traverse challenging terrains to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.

The Yatra offers two main routes: the Baltal route in Ganderbal, which is shorter but steeper, and the Chandanwari route in Pahalgam, which is longer but more gradual. The pilgrims can also opt for helicopter services from Neelgrath and Pahalgam to make the journey easier.

The Amarnath Yatra for 2024 is set to commence on June 29th and will conclude on August 19th. — (KIMS)
