Mainly clear weather in Jammu and Kashmir: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Thursday forecast mainly clear weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and clear during last 24 hours in the Union Territory.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, mainly clear weather is expected in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 0.6 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 4.4 degrees Celsius and minus 3.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 10.1 degrees Celsius, Katra 10.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 6.4 degrees Celsius, Banihal 6.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 2.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded minus 12.6 degrees Celsius and Leh recorded minus 9.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
