SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Friday forecast mainly dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir till August 10, 2023.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, The weather will remain mainly hot and dry in Jammu and Kashmir till August 6, 2023. However, rain may occur at isolated to scattered places towards late afternoon or evening during this period.
Mainly dry weather is expected in Jammu and Kashmir from August 7-10, 2023, he said.
Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 20.0°C, Anantnag 17.4°C, Qazigund 17.6°C, Kupwara 17.8°C, Kokernag 16.9°C, Gulmarg 12.8°C and Pahalgam 14.1°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Friday.
The winter capital Jammu recorded 28.5°C, Katra 24.4°C, Batote 20.6°C, Bhaderwah 20.5°C, Banihal 20.1°C, Udhampur 25.8°C and Patnitop 20.4°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.
In Ladakh region, Leh recorded 14.0°C and Kargil 17.5°C as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
