Mainly dry weather in J&K till Nov 6: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Tuesday forecast mainly dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory till November 6th, 2023.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, “Today, the weather will remain mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir.” “Similar weather conditions will prevail in the Union Territory tomorrow on November 1st,” he said.

He said, “Generally cloudy weather is expected with possibility of light rain and snow over isolated to scattered higher reaches of Union Territory from November 2nd to 3rd,” he said.

He said, “The weather is expected to remain mainly dry in the Union Territory from November 4th to 6th,” he said.

Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 4.6°C, Anantnag 4.4°C, Qazigund 3.0°C, Kupwara 3.1°C, Kokernag 4.8°C, Gulmarg 4.0°C and Pahalgam 0.8°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Tuesday.

The winter capital Jammu recorded 16.1°C, Katra 14.8°C, Batote 9.5°C, Bhaderwah 6.4°C and Banihal 4.8°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 2.2°C and Kargil 0.1°C as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
