MeT forecasts cloudy weather in J&K for next 24 hours

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Thursday forecast mainly cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was sunny and pleasant in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, mainly to partly cloudy weather is expected in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, in Kashmir region, Srinagar recorded 5.5 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 0.8 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 1.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 15.0 degrees Celsius, Katra 14.2 degrees Celsius, Batote 9.5 degrees Celsius, Banihal 5.6 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 9.4 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 4.9 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 3.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
