MeT forecasts dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather remained dry in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, mainly clear weather is expected at most places in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 3.7 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 3.7 degrees Celsius and minus 4.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 11.1 degrees Celsius, Katra 12.0 degrees Celsius, Batote 5.0 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.6 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 2.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded minus 10.6 degrees Celsius and Leh recorded minus 8.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
