SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Monday forecast dry weather in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir till February 14.
Many places of the Union Territory received light to moderate rain and snowfall during the last 24 hours.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, “The weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of very light snowfall over isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir today.”
He said, “The weather is expected to remain generally dry in Jammu and Kashmir from February 6 to 14.”
Meanwhile, the Summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded minus 0.4°C, Qazigund minus 1.4°C, Kupwara minus 0.9°C, Gulmarg minus 10.0°C, Pahalgam minus 11.9°C and Kokernag minus 3.3°C as the Minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Monday.
The Winter Capital, Jammu recorded 5.2°C, Katra 4.2°C, Batote minus 0.4°C, Bhaderwah minus 1.8°C and Banihal minus 3.2°C as the Minimum temperature in Jammu region.
In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 6.6°C and Kargil minus 18.4°C as the Minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
