SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Thursday forecast generally dry weather in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir till March 20.
An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, “The weather is expected to remain generally dry in Jammu and Kashmir from March 14-20.”
He said, “Fresh spells of rain and snowfall is expected at many places of Jammu and Kashmir from March 22-24.”
Meanwhile, the Summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 4.4°C, Qazigund 1.8°C, Kupwara 1.2°C, Kokernag 1.3°C,Gulmarg minus 4.8°C and Pahalgam minus 1.3°C as the Minimum temperature in Kashmir region.
The Winter capital, Jammu recorded 13.5°C, Katra 8.6°C, Batote 2.2°C, Bhaderwah 3.6°C and Banihal 3.0°C as the Minimum temperature in Jammu region.
In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 3.0°C and Kargil minus 4.4°C as the Minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
