SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast generally cloudy weather with chances of light rain in Jammu and Kashmir during next 24 hours.
The weather was inclement in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, Generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rain is expected in Jammu & Kashmir during next 24 hours.
He said, Srinagar recorded 5.6 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 0.6 degrees Celsius and minus 1.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Tuesday.
In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 13.1 degrees Celsius, Katra 11.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 6.5 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 6.0 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 2.4 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 3.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
