MeT forecasts mainly cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast mainly cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

It said, there is possibility of rain in the evening in the Union Territory.

The weather was inclement in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Mainly cloudy weather with rain in the evening is likely in J&K.

He said, Srinagar recorded 10.4 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 5.2 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 3.5 degrees as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 18.6 degrees Celsius, Katra 15.4 degrees Celsius, Batote 10.2 degrees Celsius, Banihal 10.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 10.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil and Leh recorded 3.3 degrees Celsius and 0.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
