SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday appointed R. R. Swain, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer as the Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
According to a communique, R. R. Swain, who is presently posted as Special DG, CID, Jammu and Kashmir will also function as in-charge Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir.
He will hold the charge of Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir in addition to his existing duties from 1st November 2023, reads the communique. — (KIMS)
