SRINAGAR — Mentally unsound person was on Sunday found dead in a canal in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a mentally unsound man identified as Mohammad Anwar Lone, son of Ambir Lone of Nehama area of Pulwama was found dead in a canal.
Police in the meantime reached the spot and recovered the body, they said adding that the man was missing since April 20 from his home.
The cause of his death is being ascertained, a police officer confirmed to KDC and said that the body will be handed to the family after medico-legal formalities. — (KDC)
