Missing girl traced out in Samba, reunited with family: Police

SAMBA (KIMS) — Jammu and Police have successfully reunited a missing girl with her family in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

“The father of the missing girl, a resident of Ranipura Tehsil Rajnagar Chatarpur (MP), currently residing at Nanak Chak, Samba, lodged a written complaint at Police Post Supwal stating that his daughter had gone missing from home. Despite their best efforts, the family was unable to locate her,” police said in a statement.

“Following the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 12 dated 02-01-2025 was registered at Police Post Supwal and search started to trace out the said missing girl,” the statement said.

“Through persistent efforts, the police team at PP Supwal successfully traced out the missing girl and after completing all necessary legal formalities, reunited her to her parents. Accordingly, the missing report has been closed,” the statement added. — (KIMS)
