BANDIPORA — A motorcyclist has lost his life when he met with an accident in Rakhi Asham area of Sumbal Tehsil in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday, an official said here.
The official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer that the motorcyclist had lost control over it and died on the spot at Rakhi Asham locality of the Sumbal.
He said that soon after the incident, the deceased was rushed to community health centre sumbal where medico-legal formalities were conducted following which the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites.
While identifying the deceased as Adil Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Ahad Dar, a resident of Sopore, the official said they have taken cognisance of the incident and a case has been registered in a local police station. — (KNO)
