No major weather forecast in Jammu & Kashmir till February 25: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological department today issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting a mix of cloudy conditions and light precipitation over the next ten days.

An official of MeT Srinagar stated that there is no nothing significant expected till February 18.

From February 16 to 18, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy, with a possibility of very light rain or snow at isolated higher reaches.

The forecast indicates a change on February 19 and 20, with generally cloudy skies and light rain or snow anticipated at scattered places, particularly from late night on February 19 till afternoon of February 20.

Between February 21 and 23, the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy, the official said.

Another spell of partly to generally cloudy conditions likely to return on February 24 and 25, accompanied by light rain or snow at isolated to scattered places in J&K.

The official advised tourists, travelers, and transporters to follow administrative and traffic advisories for safety.
