One killed, three injured in attack on wine shop in Baramulla

SRINAGAR — One person was killed and three others were injured after militants attack wine shop in Baramulla district of North Kashmir on Tuesday.

Reports said militants lobbed grenade on newly opened wine shop at Dewan Bagh locality in Baramulla district resulting in injuries to four persons.

All the injured persons were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. However among them one identified as Ranjit Singh (52) S/o Krishan Lal from Rajouri succumbed to his injuries.

Three other persons who were injured in this attack were identified as Goverdan Singh (35) S/o Gajender Singh and Ravi Kumar (36) S/o Kartar Chand from Khatua and Govind Singh (35) S/o Gurdev Singh from Rajouri.

Meanwhile, government forces have cordoned off entire area to nab the attackers. — (KIMS)
