Partly cloudy sky; rain snow likely in J&K: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department office on Saturday forecast partly cloudy sky with chances of rain, snow in Jammu and Kashmir during next 24 hours.

“Partly cloudy sky with chances of rain/snow is are likely in J&K during the next 24 hours,” IANS quoted an official of the MeT Department as having said.

He said Srinagar recorded minus 1.4 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam minus 2.8 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg minus 2.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature on Saturday.

In Jammu region he said, Jammu recorded 5.0 degrees Celsius, Katra 7.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 5.1 degrees Celsius, Banihal 3.4 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 2.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region he said, Kargil recorded minus 14.8 degrees Celsius and Leh recorded minus 10.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
