RAMBAN — A driver lost his life after a passenger cab rolled down into gorge at Kelamorh area of Ramban district on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban said, an Innova-make passenger vehicle rolled down from National Highway-44 at Kelamorh, Ramban.
He said Police, SDRF & Civil QRT reach spot, one person, driver, who was traveling alone, has died on the spot.
The body of the deceased driver has been recovered.
In another accident, an LMV collided with another vehicle near Seri area of Ramban. Injured travellers were shifted to District Hospital, Ramban for treatment. Rescue operation by joint team of Police, SDRF and Civil QRT was going on in the area.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Ramban has advised people to drive with utmost care on National Highway-44.
He said, people driving on the National Highway-44 are advised to drive with utmost care. There is no harm in reaching home late. We have had 4 accidents in 5 days. — (KIMS)
