SOPORE — An elderly woman was allegedly killed by her son in Dangerpora area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the woman was allegedly hanged to death by her son in Dangerpora locality of the district.
The official said soon after the commission of crime, the accused son, who is said to be a drug addict, was arrested within hours.
The body has been shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, for medico-legal formalities, the official said.
Meanwhile, Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Sopore. Further investigation into the matter is going on.
