SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday attached an immovable property worth approximately ₹10 lakh in the Khansahib area of Budgam district in connection with a drug trafficking case, officials said.
The action was taken in connection with FIR No. 92/2026 registered under Sections 8 and 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Police Station Khansahib.
The attached property comprises a shop and a car-washing facility and is associated with accused Mohammad Rafiq Khan, son of Abdul Rehman Khan, a resident of Arizal, who is alleged to be involved in drug peddling.
Police said the property was attached under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act after following due legal procedure. The action is aimed at preventing the accused from dealing with or deriving any benefit from assets allegedly linked to illicit narcotics trafficking. — (KIMS)
