RAJOURI — Rajouri Police have solved a sheep theft case with the arrest of an accused and the recovery of 38 stolen sheep from Baramulla district, officials said on Saturday.
The accused, identified as Abdul Satar, son of Mohd Nazir, a resident of Balshama, Sunderbani, in Rajouri district, was arrested in connection with FIR No. 104/2026 registered at Police Station Nowshera under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Police said the Nowshera police team pursued the investigation and traced the stolen sheep to Baramulla, where they were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is underway. — (KIMS)
