Ram Mandir Consecration: J&K government announces half-day holiday on Monday

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — In view of the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the Jammu and Kashmir government announced half-day public holiday on Monday (January 22).

According to a communique, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the half-day holiday shall be observed till 2:30 pm on Monday in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir shall take place in Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

The Government of India has also officially announced the half-day holiday across the nation on Monday (January 22) in view of the event. — (KIMS)
