SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Minister Sakina Itoo on Monday congratulated MMA fighter Owais Yaqoob on his impressive victory at BRAVE CF 107 in Bulgaria and cricketer Auqib Nabi on his maiden selection to India’s Test squad.
In a post on X, Itoo described Owais’ triumph over an unbeaten two-time IMMAF world champion as a spectacular achievement that showcased exceptional skill and determination. She also termed Auqib Nabi’s inclusion in the Indian Test squad as well deserved.
She said both athletes had brought immense pride to Jammu and Kashmir and inspired a new generation of young sportspersons.
