SRINAGAR — Unknown gunmen on Thursday shot dead the principal of a school and a teacher in Eidgah area of Srinagar, officials said.
An official told that gunmen, suspected to be militants, fired upon the duo—Supinder Kour Wife of RP Singh Principal Govt boys Sangam and Deepak Chand (38) son of Lal Chand, a resident of Janipur Jammu, at Eidgah, leaving them critically injured.
He said both injured persons were shifted to SKIMS hospital where they were declared brought dead on arrival.
The latest incident comes a day after three civilians including the owner of Bindroo Medicate were shot dead in Srinagar and Bandipora. — (KDC)
