Senior IAS Officer Atal Dulloo repatriated to home cadre J&K, likely to be new Chief Secretary

SRINAGAR — The Government on Monday repatriated, Mr. Atal Dulloo, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer to his parent cadre, Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an order, The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the repatriation of 1989-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer to his parent cadre on the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Dulloo is currently posted as Secretary, Department of Border Management under the home ministry and he is likely to be appointed as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir.

The current Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta will retire after attaining age of 60 later this month.

Dulloo was posted as Secretary, Department of Border Management in June this year, before that he was posted as Financial Commissioner Agriculture Production Department in Jammu and Kashmir Government.
