SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is likely to announce winter vacation for primary classes within few days.
The Government is considering announcing winter vacation for primary classes soon, primarily due to harsh weather conditions, including cold temperatures and foggy mornings in the Kashmir valley.
Parents and the Private Schools Association have expressed concerns about the health of primary school children, urging the government to make an early decision.
According to sources, the government is likely to announce winter vacation for primary classes (upto 5th standard) in next few days.
Sources said, the winter vacation for middle primary and upper classes will be subjected to weather conditions. — (KIMS)
