Strict action will be taken against them for violating government norms, FIR will also be registered: AD Food

ANANTNAG — The authorities on Thursday sealed several mutton shops in Aantnag town of South Kashmir for violating norms.
Sources told KIMS that the shops were selling mutton at higher rates after which locals complaint against them and food department swung into action.
The joint team comprising of TSO Enforcement along with team inspected the shops and sealed them onspot.
Assistant Director Food Anantnag, Mudasir Ahmad while talking to KIMS said, “after receiving several complaints, we constituted a special team to inspect markets and check overcharging. Today we sealed seven shops for selling mutton at higher rates.”
He said we will take strict action against them for violating government norms and also an FIR will be registered against them.
He further said that general public is requested to inform the administration if they found any shop owner violating government norms.
Locals appreciated the swift move by administration against the violators adding that in future also administration should continue to act against violators. — (KIMS)
