JAMMU (KIMS) — A soldier was killed and another injured in a road accident in Poonch district of Jammu region on Tuesday.
Reports said, an Army vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into gorge at Chira Wala Morh in Kasalyan area of the district, resulting in injuries to two soldiers.
They said, both the soldiers were taken to Army’s 93 Brigade hospital in Poonch for treatment, however one soldier identified as Pritam Singh succumbed to his injuries.
Another soldier identified as Abdul Manan is undergoing treatment and his condition is stated to be stable. — (KIMS)
