JAMMU (KIMS) — The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway that was blocked due to intermittent shooting stones at several places in Ramban district due to snowfall has been partially restored for vehicular movement.
According to Traffic Officials, the highway was partially restored for vehicular movement today at around 03:00 pm and stranded vehicles were being cleared.
The Officials have also advised commuters to drive vehicles cautiously as part of road near Sherbibi is single lane and also slippery at a number of places.
On Thursday, the highway was blocked for vehicular movement due to intermittent shooting stones at several places following heavy rainfall and snowfall along the road between Ramsoo and Banihal stretch.
The road was also damaged in Sherbibi area of Ramban district. — (KIMS)
