SRINAGAR — The vehicular movement on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was closed due to shooting stones and mudslides between Chanderkot and Banihal area of Ramban, officials said on Monday.
Officials said that due to shooting stones and mudslides at many places between Chanderkot and Banihal, Srinagar-Jammu National Highway is blocked for vehicular movement.
They said that the vehicular movement will be allowed after clearance of road.
“Jammu Srinagar NHW blocked at many places between Chanderkot and Banihal due to shooting stones and mudslides. Traffic will be allowed after clearance of road,” J&K Traffic Police said in a tweet.
The vehicular movement on Mughal road and Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari (SSG) road was also suspended on Monday due to snowfall in upper reaches of Kashmir valley. — (KIMS)
