SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday recovered 290 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from a residential house in Panthachowk area of Srinagar district.
“290 bottles of Codeine Phosphate were recovered after a team of Police Station Panthachowk conducted a search operation based on credible information at a the residence of Irfan Ahmad Ganie, son of Manzoor Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Athawajan in presence of the Tehsildar Panthachowk (a Gazetted Officer),” police said in a statement.
In this regard, a case has been registered under FIR No. 05/2025 under Sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act, and further investigation is currently in progress. — (KIMS)
