SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Government has relieved IPS officer P.D. Nitya, SSP Pulwama, from the Union Territory to join the Rajasthan Cadre, following her inter-cadre transfer approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
According to an order issued by the Home Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government, Ms. Nitya (AGMUT:16) has been relieved from her duties in J&K with effect from October 8, 2025, to take up her new assignment in Rajasthan.
“In pursuance to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India’s communication under reference and the approval of Competent Authority, Ms. P.D. Nitya, IPS (AGMUT:16), SSP Pulwama is hereby relieved from the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, with effect from 08.10.2025 (A/N), to join the Rajasthan Cadre, on account of her inter-cadre transfer to the said Cadre,” reads the order. — (KIMS)
